Regional Centers for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs
Wisconsin has five Regional Centers dedicated to supporting families with children and youth with special health care needs and the providers who serve them. The Centers are staffed by specialists who can help get answers, find services, and connect you to community resources. Their services are free and private.

Provides resources, training and education for families with children struggling with mental health.
Peer-run respites are for people experiencing increased stress or symptoms related to mental health and substance use concerns who want support and encouragement from people who have experienced similar challenges. This support and encouragement is available through an overnight stay and by phone, for adults 18 and older.
Positive recovery outcomes are more likely when people with mental health and substance use challenges talk with someone who has firsthand recovery experience. There are 10 locations around Wisconsin to provide you with support
